FIRST ROLL SHOOT~

 ANGLE DOWN
To edit my "angle down" photo, I used the curves tool to fix the exposure/contrast to the way I'd like them to be, I boosted the yellow and green hints to the photo to make the flowers pop, lowered the red levels, and blurred around the outside of the picture to make the flowers stand put even more.

 ANGLE UP
For my "angle up" photograph, I played around in the curves tool to edit the exposure to be a bit lower as well as the brightness, and I made the shadows darker with raising the contrast slightly, and I blurred out the background to make Zac the main focus.
BACKLIGHTING
My backlighting picture feature Joe, looking all suave, sitting in the lunch room (where it's easy to take a photo showing a good example of backlighting). I boosted the contrast and lowered the exposure for this picture so make Joe's shadow darker and more contrasted against the light coming through the windows, which I edited all in the curves tool. I also lowered the saturation, and boosted the blue and green hints in this photo.
FRAME WITHIN A FRAME
Originally, I was going to use this photo as my rule of third picture, because the window panes represented the grid that pops up when using rule of thirds, but I decided it would make a nice "frame within a frame" photo. I boosted the colors outside, making the window darker, and I desaturated the photo a little bit. I also wen in and used the color stamp tool to fix the reflection in the window on the bricks.
 PATTERN
I took this photo outside of the art room, showing various patterns painted on the cement from the outlines of a few spray paint projects. I boosted the blue hues in this photo, to make it darker and not as saturated (I also lowered the saturation), and I raised the contrast and lowered the exposure to give the photo some softer elements, even with so much color.
PERSPECTIVE
I shot this photo, making sure to have Zac and Joe jumping far away, showing the perspective of the sidewalk and themselves. I cropped this photo so there wouldn't be any outside distractions from the main focus. I also darkened the colors by lowering the exposure and slightly boosting the contrast, saturating the picture a little bit.
 RULE OF THIRDS
This photo represents rule of thirds by placing the tree in the front across one of the lines of the grid, and placing the top edge of the mountains across the bottom horizontal line of the grid. I lowered the saturation, took out some of the red hues so that the blues and greens could be more prominent. I also cropped this photo so that the tree would be alone a line in the rule of thirds.
 SHADOW
I had Zac and Dezeray pose in a xKOOLxKIDxHXCx stance against the light, showing a sort of backlighting example, but mainly a shadow one since their shadows are the most noticeable. I cropped the photo to make Zac, Dezeray, and their shadows the main focus. I also lowered the exposure and saturation, boosted the contrast a bit, and made the blue tones the most prominent.
 SIDE-LIGHTING
The no smoking sign against this pillar showed a good example of side-lighting, since half of the pillar is lit by the sunlight and the other side is shadowed. I lowered the exposure and boosted the contrast, and I added a bit of saturation.
TEXTURE
This photo wasn't originally the photo I took for my example of texture, but since the other one I took was blurry, I used this one instead. The dirt is a great example of texture, because it looks like ground beef and it's a kind of texture you can see in the picture, and the weeds add a good effect to that. I lowered the reds and amped up the greens and yellows, lowered the exposure and saturation, and boosted the contrast. I also think I cropped out the blurry background of this picture.

POP ART PROJECT~

I used three separate photos of me, Zac, and Dezeray to create this pop art, Andy Warhol type landscape photo for my project. I started with Zac's photo and cut out his face and used multiple copies of layers to cover half of the blank canvas. Once that was done I cut out the photo of me crossing my arms and enlarged it to show a xHARDCOREx effect, as if I was standing behind Zac's multiple heads. After that I cut out Dezeray's body to fill up some extra space on the top, kind of mimicking what I did to Zac's head, having her body upside-down and grow in size from left to right. Then I used the gradient tool on a new layer to create the black and white effect on the background. Then I changed the colors of each of us, making Zac and Dezeray look more animated and making the photo of me look more realistic, just a different color. I enjoy color and pink hues, but also neutral tones so I was sure to incorporate both. 8/14/14

CRYSTAL CASTLES FACE SWAP~

This was an easy face swap sue to Ethan and Alice's similar haircuts, and the fact that their heads are facing the same angle. What I did in order to complete this task was crete separate layers for Alice and Ethan, then I used the clone stamp tool on the background layer to capture the face I wanted to clone, then I painted it on whatever layer I needed to use, making sure to only paint around their cheekbones and right below their bangs. Once I had a separate face for Alice, I used the move tool to place her face on top of Ethan's body, and I did the same with Ethan's face on Alice's body. To clean up around the edge, I uses the magnifying glass to zoom into their faces, and then I used the eraser tool to clean up around the edge's of Ethan's beard and Alice's jaw line. 8/4/14-8/6/14
